LIGHT UP THE WORLD

Triumphant Life Church

1511 Davis Ave.

Endicott NY 13760

2 Samuel 22: 29 - 31

For You are my lamp, O Lord; The Lord shall enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop; By my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

The National Day of Prayer is set to return to Broome County on May 2, 2024, after several years of absence. This day has a storied history in the United States, tracing back to the era of the colonial times and the founding fathers. This gathering has not been celebrated in our county for many years. And on this day, we join together to offer our thanks for the countless blessings He has bestowed upon our Nation. Through prayer, we recognize the limits of earthly power and acknowledge the sovereignty of God."

LIFT UP THE WORD LIGHT UP THE WORLD

The theme for this year's National Day of Prayer is succinctly captured in the phrase: "Lift up the Word, Light up the World." Just as a light atop a mountain cannot be hidden. As True Christian, we purposefully ignite GOD's Word within our hearts. Fueled by the flame of the Holy Spirit, we boldly proclaim His way, truth and life for our County and the United States of America.

As true followers of the Way, unashamed of the Gospel, we declare our commitment to raise up and elevate the Word of GOD and becoming ambassadors of GOD's kingdom here in Broome County.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, our unwavering beacon, we find strength to conquer battles and scale seemingly insurmountable mountains. GOD stands as our shield, protector, provider, and defender.
